Sacred respect
Kailash is approached as a living sacred landscape, not a destination to conquer. We plan with respect for prayer, monasteries, local customs, sacred water and the mountain itself.
Luxury
Kailash Yatra
Luxury Kailash Yatra is the premium Kailash Mansarovar service of Nepal Social Treks and Expedition Pvt. Ltd., created for pilgrims who want Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarovar journeys planned with care, honesty and respect.
We are not here to make Kailash sound easy. We are here to help you understand the route, the permits, the altitude, the comfort reality and the sacred responsibility of choosing the right yatra for your body, family and prayer.
A Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is not an ordinary holiday. It asks for devotion, but it also asks for paperwork, altitude awareness, road patience and honest decisions. The mountain is sacred. The route is remote. The body must be respected.
Many pilgrims come with a deep wish: to see Mount Kailash, to pray beside Lake Manasarovar, to take parents before it is too late, or to walk the kora if the body allows. But the questions are real too. Which route is right? Is the kora too hard? What happens at the border? What documents are needed? What kind of room and food can we expect? Can older family members manage the altitude?
Luxury Kailash Yatra was created to answer those questions before the journey begins. We help pilgrims choose with clarity, not pressure. We explain the difference between full kora, darshan-focused, Simikot–Hilsa, Lhasa, overland and private routes, so the yatra fits the person, not only the calendar.
We do not believe in promises that belong to the mountain, the weather or the authorities. We believe in careful preparation, clear communication and respect for what Kailash asks from every pilgrim: humility.

Luxury Kailash Yatra is owned by Nepal Social Treks and Expedition Pvt. Ltd., a registered Nepal tourism company serving travellers since 2006. Nepal Social Treks began with a simple belief: guests should be helped before they arrive, cared for during the journey and treated with honesty after they return.
Over the years, Nepal Social Treks has worked across Nepal and neighbouring regions including Tibet, India and Bhutan. Its team of 30+ people, long field experience and own transport support have helped build the practical base behind many Himalayan journeys.
Luxury Kailash Yatra was created from that experience as a more focused, premium service for Kailash and Lake Manasarovar travel. The reason is simple: Kailash needs a different level of care. A general tour mindset is not enough for a route shaped by sacred intention, Tibet permits, border rules, altitude, remote stays and the emotional weight of family devotion.
Here, luxury does not mean show. On Kailash, luxury means better preparation, clearer communication, comfort where the route allows, and the quiet confidence that someone has thought about the hard parts before you reach them.
A premium yatra is not defined by decoration alone. It is defined by the care, honesty and judgement behind each stage of the journey.
Kailash is approached as a living sacred landscape, not a destination to conquer. We plan with respect for prayer, monasteries, local customs, sacred water and the mountain itself.
Before confirming a yatra, we help you understand the route, permits, altitude, comfort level and physical demand. A clear decision is better than a rushed booking.
Kailash routes depend on serious altitude, current visa rules, Tibet permits, border conditions and authority decisions. We prepare carefully and avoid false guarantees.
Luxury means honest comfort where the route allows, and careful guidance for families, parents and senior pilgrims choosing the right pace.
Every pilgrim comes with a different prayer and a different body. Our process creates clarity before commitment and care before departure.
We begin with your intention, preferred month, passport, health concerns, family needs and whether you hope to complete the kora or receive darshan without it.
We compare overland, Simikot–Hilsa, Lhasa, Door Darshan, EBC, private and family-paced routes so the yatra fits your body, time and prayer.
We guide documents, packing, payment rhythm, altitude preparation, accommodation expectations and the questions that should be settled before departure.
Once the yatra begins, guides, drivers and local teams support the route. If weather, permits, roads or health change the plan, we explain clearly and move with care.

Basu Pandey’s journey in travel did not begin behind a desk. It began on the ground, in the mountains, among travellers, guides, porters, roads, weather and the small decisions that make or break a journey.
Before founding Nepal Social Treks and Expedition Pvt. Ltd. in 2006, Basu worked his way through the field. He began as a porter during his college years, later became a senior guide and built his career by learning travel from the route itself. That background matters. A person who has carried loads, guided people and solved problems on the trail understands travel differently from someone who has only sold it.
With more than 25 years in trekking and travel, Basu has seen what travellers often need most: not big promises, but clear answers. He has listened to people before their first trek, helped families plan carefully, built teams around practical field knowledge and learned that good travel is a mix of preparation, trust and humility.
Luxury Kailash Yatra grew from that experience. Basu saw that Kailash pilgrims need more than a normal package. They need someone to explain the difference between routes, the seriousness of altitude, the patience needed for permits, the limits of remote comfort and the responsibility of taking parents or elders toward a sacred mountain.
His approach is simple: listen carefully, explain honestly, prepare thoroughly and never make the mountain sound easier than it is.
A Kailash yatra deserves more than an itinerary. It deserves honest preparation, calm guidance and care for every pilgrim who places their trust in us.
Behind each Kailash journey is a wider circle of planners, guides, drivers, coordinators and local support teams. Some prepare documents and routes before departure. Some support the road, border, altitude and daily movement during the yatra.
Luxury Kailash Yatra carries the field strength of Nepal Social Treks, while giving Kailash pilgrims a more focused level of care.

A Kailash yatra is a significant decision. These answers explain who we are, how we plan and why careful preparation matters before you choose a route.
Luxury Kailash Yatra is owned by Nepal Social Treks and Expedition Pvt. Ltd., a registered Nepal tourism company that has served travellers since 2006. Luxury Kailash Yatra was created as its premium service for Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarovar journeys.
Basu Pandey is the founder behind Nepal Social Treks and Luxury Kailash Yatra. He has more than 25 years of experience in trekking and travel and comes from a field background, beginning as a porter and later working as a senior guide before building his company.
Kailash travel needs more than hotel and vehicle booking. It involves sacred purpose, Tibet permits, border timing, altitude, remote accommodation, route choice and sometimes the difficult decision of whether a pilgrim should attempt the kora. A Kailash-focused operator helps you understand these questions before you confirm.
Luxury on Kailash does not mean five-star comfort everywhere. Remote Tibet and kora areas are limited by location. For us, luxury means honest guidance, careful preparation, better available comfort, clear communication and support that respects the body and the sacred landscape.
No responsible operator should guarantee government approvals, weather, road access, altitude response or clear mountain views. We prepare documents carefully, plan the route responsibly and communicate clearly, but permits, border movement, weather and health remain outside any company’s full control.
Yes. Many families come to us because they want to take parents or senior relatives to Kailash. We help compare full kora, darshan-focused, private, Lhasa, Simikot–Hilsa and shorter routes based on health, walking ability, comfort needs, passport and available time.
Permit and visa requirements depend on route, nationality, travel dates and current regulations. Our team explains the document process, collects required details and coordinates the operational steps through proper channels. Final approval always belongs to the relevant authorities.
Kailash routes require flexibility. Weather, road conditions, border procedures, permits and group health can affect timing or movement. When conditions change, the right response is clear communication, practical options and decisions made with safety and route reality in mind.
