You fly from Nepalgunj to Simikot, then continue toward Hilsa as per the final operating plan. Hilsa is the remote border approach used for this route. After border procedures, you transfer toward Taklakot on the Tibet side.

This day may involve waiting, weather checks, immigration formalities, luggage handling and local instructions. Because the route depends on flights and border movement, flexibility is essential.

Simikot and Hilsa are gateways, not comfort stops. Taklakot, also known as Purang, becomes the Tibet-side base for the Manasarovar and Kailash Door Darshan section.

Taklakot is high, around 4,000m. The body may feel the altitude after rapid travel. Move slowly, hydrate and report symptoms early.

From Taklakot, you travel toward Lake Manasarovar and the planned Mount Kailash Door Darshan visit. The exact darshan point, timing and access depend on permits, road conditions, local rules and weather.

At Lake Manasarovar, pilgrims may spend time in prayer, reflection and sacred-water devotion according to the final program. If Mount Kailash is visible, the darshan can become one of the most emotional moments of the yatra.
